Per far funzionare i microfoni di Singstar con Ultrastar occorre innanzitutto configurare correttamente l'hardware sul proprio PC seguendo le indicazioni presenti nell'articolo Configurazione Hardware in Risorse - Tutorial, dopodiche' configurarlo correttamente all'interno del gioco,andando in Strumenti - Opzioni - Record e settare la corretta periferica per i microfoni, dopodiche' il canale left su 1 ed il right su 2.

Impostare le opzioni di gioco per due giocatori ed iniziare a giocare.

Un altro software per estrarre e convertire le canzoni da Singstar Ps2 ed utilizzarle in Ultrastar.
